Friends With Blogs – Messages From the Heart
Last week I shared some blogs I follow. Those were blogs that have a big or even huge following. I called those the pros.
This week I’m sharing blogs I love which are by people I know personally. Believe me when I tell you these blogs are very good. They always have content that makes me think, ask questions, and is always encouraging. Sometimes, their words bring me to my knees. And they are all by good, good people. Jesus Followers.
I told you last week, those posts were by pros, but these people are pros, too. They put a lot of thought, time, and effort, not to mention prayer, into what they have to share with us. I know you will find that their words will bless you in many ways.

If you want to see someone shine through their words, Deb is your gal. So, so good. You will fall in love with her. Deb has lovely devotionals available on Amazon.
I love Deena’s heart for sharing other authors’ works with us. Always good book suggestions. Author interviews, too. Get to know a new one! Deena is an award-winning writer.
Southern to the core. I love everything she does. She guests on others’ blogs, too. She edited my first book and made it so much better! Forever grateful. I have to plug The Third Path. It is life-altering. A delightful blog.
I have a soft spot for Hallee. When I attended my first conference back in 2014, I was reading her book, A Song for James. I couldn’t believe I was actually standing there with a real author. She’s one of the sweetest, most genuine people ever. She knows her stuff. If you’re ever at a conference and she’s teaching, by all means, find her classes!
Jane and I met at the Marketing Retreat in 2020 before Covid hit us. She is so sweet and kind. I love reading her blog posts. She shows us projects around her home and she reviews books for kids. I always learn something from Jane. Love her home and garden projects! She’s a terrific writer, too.
Joni always has something uplifting to say in her posts. If you ever need a book doctor, I promise she can see every single thing you missed, and she has suggestions for how it could be fixed. Award-winning author of fiction and poetry.
I’ve never met anyone who writes like Lori. You will just have to read it to know what I mean. She makes me think, ask questions I would have never thought of on my own. So good. Find her books on Amazon.
The queen of romantic suspense. Best-selling author. A delightful lady whose works got my late sister through the darkest days on her cancer journey. Thankful for this lady and her books.
Encourager extraordinaire. Marilyn’s work is so uplifting. Always encouraging words to say.
This is our librarian. She’s a terrific writer who shares books as they come into her library. But she should be sharing hers. They are very, very good. An encourager to all authors. Shelia was a Carol Award Finalist this year.
Ah, Tammy! Our Tickled Pink gal. So full of fun. She wears many hats these days. One I’ve followed for a while is Book Launch Geek. She’s good, y’all!
I couldn’t leave out the men, so I’m adding one last one to make this a Baker’s Dozen. Tim is so good at finding a message in his photographs, which are very good, by the way. He always has something good to say. I love that he uses his photos to relay his message.

There are hundreds if not thousands of blog links I could put here. This list is composed of people who are special to me in some way and who’ve made a difference in my life with words of encouragement, prayers, or a special bond.
I love reading the posts by these bloggers. Some posts are short while others are longer. All of them give me pause to think. A couple are so deep that I need to talk them out with my husband. One or two offer book reviews. One blogger is a librarian and one is on the USA Today and other best-seller lists.
I love finding my friends’ books on these posts. If your book has been mentioned in one of these posts, I rejoice with you. Be sure to share your accomplishments with us. Even if your book hasn’t been published . . . yet, share your progress with us.
The words of these writers will touch you in some miraculous way, with the message God alone knows you need. I pray you will give them a try.
If you are a reader, let me assure you that each of these people is honored to have you read their blog posts or their books. They wouldn’t be able to do what they do without you. And they, in turn, bless us with the messages in their blog posts and their newsletters. And their books!
