The Voice of The Shepherd

Have you heard the voice of The Shepherd? When we listen to that still small voice, we can be assured that our decisions are coming from Yeshua. We don’t have to wonder if our decisions are the right ones, we know they are because we listened when He called. After all, we’re His sheep—we know the voice of The Shepherd. (John 10:27, paraphrased).

DECISIONS

In the past couple of weeks, I’ve been listening more intently than in my entire life. As a result, I am taking some time off from my writing. Well, let me clarify, I’m altering my schedule a bit.

Rather than having a weekly blog post, I am going to once a month. I’ll be doing those posts around the first of the month, and my newsletter will go out quarterly. A change, for sure, but not too drastic. There could come a period when I need to adjust it to a longer period, or it could be shorter. I know my Shepherd will let me know.

I do hope you all will stick with me through this period and extend me grace. Sometimes we just need more time with God, away from worldly things, and more time spent digging into His word.

If you feel so moved, I covet your prayers.

One thing I hope to accomplish during this time is to finish book two of my Charlotte Graves series, Grave Decisions. As I write those words, I can’t help but notice, how like God to have given me that title over three years ago, and as I head toward completion of this work, He’s called me to a decision about the timing of my writing. He’s like that, isn’t He?

CALLED TO HIS PURPOSE

Romans 8:28 (NASB) says, And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those what are called according to His purpose.

That scripture has never been more apparent in my life than in the past couple of weeks. This is part of that working together for good.

Have you heard the voice of The Shepherd? Here’s the good news, even if you don’t hear Him call, He will leave the 99 and fight to find you. He loves you that much.  https://youtu.be/9tnoTlDusDM

Until next month . . .

Blessings, y’all!

I’ve learned a few things in this long life I’ve lived. I have prayed for wisdom more times than I can count. Maybe I’ve finally put some of that to good use.
      Thank you for reading. Blessings!
