Meet a Great Blogger

This week, I’d like to introduce you to a friend who has a blog called Set Apart Storytelling. Jane Green is an excellent writer whose content is always so interesting. She writes about everything from a series on how she rebuilt her outside garden (with many photos, start to finish, patio and all), to how she decorates her home, to book recommendations for you and your kids or grands, to this week’s post, Finding Your Peace Today. Here is a link to her newest post:

Jane is a wife, mother, and grandmother, but most importantly, a Jesus Follower. I met Jane at a writing conference a few years ago. After that, I joined a critique group in which she was a member.  Jane’s middle grade book grabbed my attention, and I hope she will finish it soon.

AWARD WINNING BLOG

You will love Jane’s content. Her blog won second place in the Foundations Awards at Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference in 2025. It’s that good!

This week, Jane included a link to a YouTube video by Dr. Lee Warren. I didn’t know anything about him, but my husband and I watched the video last night and it was excellent. IMHO everyone should take a look. Good word, for sure. The link above will take you to Jane’s post where you will find a link to that video.

SHORT – TIME FOR REST

This post is short this week as I just wrote The End for book three of my Charlotte Graves Mystery Series, Grave Risk. I’m taking a bit of time off to just rest as I’ve been hard at it for the past several months and weeks. It’s always a relief to write those two words.

Rest for now, then back to edits. It won’t be long. If you’d like to follow my writing progress, you can follow me at my full name with no spaces, dot com. That takes you to my website where you may sign up for my blog which comes out every Thursday, and my newsletter which comes out monthly. You may unsubscribe at any time. My newsletter has news about my writing, books I’ve been reading, a good Southern recipe, and I give away a book or two each month.

FOLLOW JANE – BE BLESSED

Go check out Jane’s blog. She always has words of encouragement, hope, and faith.  And don’t forget she has book recommendations for you and your kids. I know you will enjoy reading her posts and be blessed by them.

Blessings, y’all!

This old hymn has become my “theme song”. I’ve sung it more times than I could ever count. When I first sang it when I was about 16, I had no idea I would one day become a writer, reflecting the words of the last verse. Every writer needs to know this hymn. So true. We cannot write enough words to convey how vast God’s love truly is. I sang this at the funerals of Mama in 1996 and Papa in 2012.
