Grave Consequences Has a Cover

I want to thank all of you for faithfully reading my posts. I can’t tell you how much that means to me. In the publishing world, it’s all about the numbers. Sad, but true. It’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s just the way it is.

If you’ve read my posts for a while, you know that I’ve shared with you many things about my writing journey. One of those things was about the birth of a book and how long a process it is. I feel fortunate. I haven’t had to wait that long. Believe me when I tell you that was by the grace of God alone.

Cover Unveiled
Yesterday, I was sent my book cover. Yay!

It looks so good. Even though I’m not allowed to share it with you yet, I will be doing so in the near future. I can tell you this—it’s beautiful.

I’d been warned to expect nothing. Take all those images I had in the back of my mind and toss them out the window. They were right. It’s nothing like I envisioned. It’s even better.

It’s mysterious, it’s Southern, it’s time period appropriate. Perfection.

I’ll soon be putting together a street team as it’s called in this writing world. Those are the people who will come alongside me and share word of my book’s imminent launch prior to that day.

Share Memes-See it First

Should you decide you’d like to be a part of this, know you only agree to post to social media the memes and other things associated with a book launch. In other words, tell all the people you know about my book. Tell them to share with their friends, too. I do all the background work. I’ll send you a preview of the book, you read it and post an honest review. If you can do nothing else, would you be willing to pray over this book?

What’s in it for street team members? A preview of the book. First look at the cover. And you will have your name entered in drawings for several giveaways during the launch. I have some really cool things for giveaways. And, we’re going to make this a fun time.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in doing, sign up here for my newsletter and let me know. I’d love to have you as part of my team. I can’t wait for you to meet Charlotte and the people of Loblolly, Alabama.

I’m so excited.

Grave Consequences will soon be here.

If you had to put a cover on a southern genealogy themed mystery set in 1968, what would your design be? Let’s see who comes closest to the real cover.
